Castellón fans drive Eibar win as Castalia readies for play-off | OneFootball

CD Castellón’s support matched the moment, turning SkyFi Castalia into a force as their side beat SD Eibar to clinch a play-off berth.

According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, play-off tickets in various categories are already on sale to season-ticket holders, with general release from Thursday at 16.00. A sell-out at SkyFi Castalia is expected.

The ground was full for Eibar, aside from the away allocation, and another big crowd is anticipated on Saturday at 21.00 against Almería, whose fans are expected to fill their section.

Hours before kick-off, the team bus was met by flags, scarves, pyrotechnics and thousands of voices. A brief, unexpected shower cooled the scene. Teams emerged to a Fondo 1922 tifo and the scarf-held anthem, then David Cubillas took the ceremonial kick-off.
