CD Castellón visit Hércules at 19.30 at Estadio Rico Pérez in the XXX Trofeo Ciudad de Alicante, their penultimate friendly of pre-season. El Periódico Mediterráneo reports that the match will not be televised.

Pablo Hernández is set to keep experimenting with a week to go before the LigaHypermotion opener on Friday 14 August at 20.30. It is likely he will share out minutes, with a final warm-up at Levante in La Coma on Saturday at 19.00.

Castellón beat Sabadell 2-0 and Valencia 1-2, drew 3-3 with Girona, then lost 3-0 to Alavés, their only defeat this summer. New signings have two matches to push for starting places as they bed into the team’s attacking approach.

Tickets for the Zubieta opener against Real Sociedad B are on sale exclusively to 2026/2027 season-ticket holders and 2025/2026 Carnet Albinegre holders. Sales are online only, priced at 20€ for all, and run until Monday 10 March at 12.00 or until sold out. Bringing ID is advised.
