CD Castellón fans turn Café con Ron into Jeremy Mellot chant | OneFootball

CD Castellón supporters have rolled out a new terrace anthem for Jeremy Mellot, set to Café con Ron, the Bad Bunny and Los Pleneros de la Cresta hit that has surged across football this season.

According to El Periódico Mediterráneo, the chorus runs “Por la mañana café, por la tarde ron, llévame a Primera, Jeremy Mellot”, echoing a trend popularised by other clubs, including Real Sociedad’s widely heard “Llévame a Sevilla, Orri Óskarsson” on their route to the Copa final.

Captain Alberto Jiménez kicked off the Castellón version in the dressing room after a key win over Burgos, sparking a united celebration among team-mates.

The song returned after the victory at Málaga, ringing out at La Rosaleda as Mellot raised his arms and celebrated with the travelling fans.

Mellot said he was very happy after a very difficult match, noting the stadium, the home support and Málaga’s level. He said Castellón expected Málaga to attack strongly, felt they stayed calm on the ball, and believed they produced a very different second half. He added they would sign the ball for Cala, calling the final header incredible.
