Celtic secure Junior Adamu on loan from Freiburg | OneFootball

Celtic has completed the signing of Junior Adamu on loan from Freiburg for the rest of the season.

Freiburg sporting director Klemens Hartenbach cited playing time as the main reason for the move.

“Junior has always given his best for the team; however, his minutes on the pitch were not favourable for either us or him of late, and we therefore hope to find new impetus with this loan to Celtic," he said.

Adamu has scored two goals in 18 matches for Freiburg across all competitions this season.

The 24-year-old forward joined Freiburg from RB Salzburg in 2023.
