Chelsea weigh up bids for West Ham wingers | OneFootball

Chelsea are monitoring both Jarrod Bowen and Crysencio Summerville following West Ham’s relegation from the Premier League.

Bowen and Summerville are both under consideration as the Blues prepare for another active summer in the transfer market.

New head coach Xabi Alonso is assessing options to improve his forward line, with the West Ham pair seen as players who can make an immediate impact in the Premier League. It follows a failed opening bid for Sunderland midfielder Granit Xhaka.

According to The Guardian, Chelsea are ‘one of the clubs monitoring the pair’. Summerville’s stock has risen after impressing at the World Cup with the Netherlands, with the 24-year-old scoring twice for the Oranje in North America.

Multiple clubs are eyeing a move for the Dutchman, with Spurs, Manchester United and AC Milan all linked.

Bowen faces a big decision on his future. The 29-year-old and his young family are settled at West Ham, where he is club captain.

However, interest from European clubs could persuade the winger to leave the London Stadium. Bowen has recorded 20+ goals and assists in each of the last three Premier League seasons for West Ham and is not short of suitors this summer.
