Como have opened talks over a move for Samuele Ricci, though Milan are refusing to budge on the structure of any deal as the Serie A season gets underway.
According to Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto, via CalcioMercato, Como have reached a broad agreement with Ricci’s camp, driven partly by a need for more Italian-qualified players to meet squad-list requirements for both Serie A and their debut Champions League campaign.
Cesc Fabregas sees the midfielder as a good tactical fit, but Como’s opening proposal, a loan with an option to buy, has been flatly rejected by Milan, who want a permanent sale after paying over €20m for Ricci from Torino last summer.

Ricci made 34 appearances and scored once in a difficult debut season at San Siro, and is one of several players, including Tomori and Fofana, deemed surplus to Ruben Amorim’s plans.
He’s contracted to Milan until 2029 on a reported €2.5m net salary.
Atalanta have also made contact over the midfielder, with Maurizio Sarri said to be an admirer, giving Milan a second option if talks with Como stall over the financial structure.
