David Storch has confirmed the arrival of a key figure behind the scenes at Hillsborough
David Storch completed his takeover of Sheffield Wednesday in May after a protracted process.
The Owls went into administration in November of last year following significant financial mismanagement under Dejphon Chansiri.
The Yorkshire outfit are now preparing for life in League One after finishing bottom of the Championship table.
David Bruce has already been installed as the new CEO as work begins behind the scenes to overhaul the club.
Henrik Pedersen will be keen to oversee a rebuild of the first team squad ahead of the new campaign, with the Dane hoping to return the side to competitiveness.
Sheffield Wednesday won just twice last season, drawing 12 and losing the other 32 fixtures in the league, leaving them with zero points after accounting for the 18 they were deducted.

Storch has confirmed that Simon Wilson will be taking over as the new sporting director at Sheffield Wednesday following his departure from Stockport County.
The 73-year-old has claimed that putting together an infrastructure organisationally is the beginning of the rebuilding process at the club, praising the new CEO as being a fantastic addition to the Owls.
“We have a lot of tasks in front of us right now rebuilding this club,” said Storch, via The Star.
“This club was, as you know, not in great shape.
“We’re starting by building an infrastructure organisationally, and we’ve hired a great CEO - he’s phenomenal.
“He’s hired a sporting director, who I think we’re announcing [Monday].
“He’s also top drawer, he was the CEO of Stockport, and he’s just a really good dude - Simon Wilson is his name.”
Storch has claimed that Wilson will be just the latest appointment as they eye other figures to join the club, claiming this structure behind the scenes is a top priority for him and the Yorkshire outfit at this stage.
“We have a new senior head of all comms, we have got a new finance director coming in,” he added.
“We’re building an infrastructure organisationally.
“We are going to do the best we can to put the best team we can on the pitch this season.
“We know, at the end of the day, we can make Hillsborough the greatest stadium ever, but if we can’t compete on the pitch then it really doesn’t make a difference.
“We are very focused on that, and it is our top priority.”
Sheffield Wednesday will be hoping to compete for promotion back to the Championship straight away, although they will first have to rebuild the first team squad.
Pedersen took charge of the Owls last summer following Danny Rohl’s exit, but he previously held the role of assistant under the German.
The 48-year-old’s first season in charge was blighted by financial issues, which led to key players departing, including Josh Windass and Barry Bannan.
With the transfer window now open, the Owls will be looking to secure signings, with Wilson set to play a key role in their recruitment plans.
Sheffield Wednesday have been linked with a return for Bannan, who made the switch to Millwall in the January transfer window.
The midfielder is a beloved figure at Hillsborough, and could make his way back into the team just six months after his departure.
He played over 450 times for Sheffield Wednesday across 10 years with the club during his first stint, earning him the status of a modern legend among the fans.

Storch has worked quickly to ensure a new CEO was appointed to coincide with the takeover of Sheffield Wednesday, and this has allowed them to move quickly to bring in other key figures.
People like Wilson will be crucial to turning things around at the club, as he will be overseeing a lot of their player recruitment.
It is going to be a busy start to life at Hillsborough for the ex-Stockport chief, as numerous signings will be needed to get the team to a competitive level again.
Bringing Bannan back to the club would be a very positive start to the summer for Sheffield Wednesday, if they can get that deal over the line.
