Dennis Cirkin has joined QPR after leaving Sunderland, returning to London ahead of the new Championship season.

According to Sunderland Echo, the left back had been a free agent since his departure was confirmed.

He made 127 appearances for the Black Cats and featured in the promotion campaigns from both League One and the Championship.

Cirkin said the move feels right after conversations with CEO Christian Nourry, head coach Julien Stéphan and others at the club, noting their ambition aligns with his. He added that he shares Stéphan’s values and is keen to work under him.
