Domenico Tedesco has been appointed Bologna head coach and will take charge next season, succeeding Vincenzo Italiano.
The club said in a statement that the 40-year-old Italian has signed a contract until 30 June 2028, with an option for one further season.
He leaves Fenerbahçe after a single campaign that brought the Turkish Super Cup, and this will be his first managerial job in Italy.
Tedesco began in the youth ranks at Stuttgart then Hoffenheim, moved abroad to Türkiye, then returned to Germany at Schalke in 2017. After two years in the Ruhr he coached Spartak Moscow, Leipzig and Belgium, before his most recent spell in Türkiye last year.
