Drone images reveal significant progress at Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium, with the first home match less than two weeks away.
Bournemouth host Everton on 29 August, and work appears to be moving quickly on perimeter fencing, newly installed turnstiles and the outside broadcast compound, where fresh tarmac has been laid for television trucks covering games worldwide. The club said in April that the north west and south east corner sections would open shortly after the 2026/27 season begins, following revised timelines ahead of a BCP Council planning committee meeting in May.
Steelwork is visible in both the north west and south east corners, with the latter further advanced.
Areas around the ground still look in need of tidying to ready the car park for visitors before the Toffees arrive.
Cladding on the main stand appears close to completion, while internal works continue in hospitality, media and player areas.
The pitch also looks in excellent condition after the previous surface reached the end of its life last season and was fully relaid this summer.
