EA Sports FC 26 has launched its The World's Game update, the international tournament mode that mirrors the World Cup, bringing Neymar, Memphis Depay and Arrascaeta into the game. According to Globo.com, it also restores a fully licensed Brazil squad, with kits, crest and Carlo Ancelotti's complete call-ups.
A notable inclusion is every Campeonato Brasileiro player who has been called up by their country in-game. The last time Série A appeared officially was Fifa 14, with isolated team licences in Fifa 16 rather than the full league.
These players can be used in Modo Torneio wearing national colours, in Modo Carreira as free agents who can be signed for free, and some receive special items in Ultimate Team. There are 32 Brasileirão players in total, distributed as follows: Flamengo 9, Palmeiras 7, Atlético-MG 4, Inter and Grêmio 2 each, Corinthians, Fluminense, Santos, Botafogo, Vasco, São Paulo, Athletico-PR and Bragantino 1 apiece.
The final batch landed on 2 June, featuring Weverton and Flaco López, aligned with the confirmed World Cup squads. Additions began on 28 May off the back of the last pre-tournament international window.
Some late-May inclusions who missed final lists have already been removed, namely Rafael Borré and Johan Carbonero of Inter, Hugo Souza of Corinthians and Matías Villasanti of Grêmio. In ratings, Arrascaeta and Neymar are 83 OVR, Memphis Depay 80, Lucas Paquetá 79, with Gustavo Gómez, Gonzalo Plata and Jorge Carrascal on 78.
