El Chadaille Bitshiabu to join Salzburg on season-long loan from Leipzig | OneFootball

L\'Équipe reports that RB Leipzig will loan El Chadaille Bitshiabu, 21, to Salzburg for one season. The move takes him to another club in the Red Bull stable.

A Paris Saint-Germain academy graduate, Bitshiabu moved to Germany in summer 2023. He is a France Under-20 international with one cap, and made 19 senior appearances for PSG between 2021 and 2023.

His minutes dipped last term, with only 14 appearances for Leipzig, compared with 28 during the 2024-2025 campaign.

At Salzburg he will look to sharpen up, with the Austrian side having finished third last season and qualified for the next Europa League.

He had been linked with Lens earlier this summer, but the club chose Jean-Clair Todibo, 26, on loan from West Ham.
