Erling Haaland wins third Premier League Golden Boot | OneFootball

Erling Haaland has won his third Premier League Golden Boot for Manchester City.

According to L'Équipe, the accolade was confirmed on Sunday. The 25-year-old did not come on during the 1-2 defeat to Aston Villa, and he received the award after tributes to departing club legends Pep Guardiola, Bernardo Silva and John Stones.

He scored 27 goals in 35 league matches this season, finishing ahead of Brentford's Brazilian striker Igor Thiago on 22 and his Citizens team-mate Antoine Semenyo on 17.

He also took the award in 2022-23, when he hit 36, and in 2023-24, when he again scored 27. City finished second in the Premier League.

Haaland joins Alan Shearer, who won in 1995, 1996 and 1997, and Harry Kane, crowned in 2016, 2017 and 2021, as triple winners in the Premier League era that began in 1992. Only Thierry Henry and Mohamed Salah, with four awards, are ahead.

He has been selected by Norway, who face France on 26 June at 21:00 at the 2026 World Cup.
