According to Sunderland Echo, Everton have joined Sunderland and Leeds United in pursuit of Leicester City winger Abdul Fatawu, valued at £20m.
The 22-year-old is expected to draw interest after Leicester’s relegation, with several clubs tracking his situation ahead of a possible summer move.
Fatawu has been among Leicester’s brighter performers in a difficult campaign, building on the form that underpinned promotion in 2023-24. He has impressed in the Championship with nine goals and seven assists, and ranks highly for dribbles, chances created and touches in the opposition box.
His direct running and ball-carrying make him appealing for sides seeking pace and creativity out wide. Everton want to bolster their attack and regard him as a potential addition for next season, with Sunderland and Leeds also monitoring.
There is growing expectation he could leave the King Power Stadium this summer. A recent Instagram message thanked supporters and lamented the season, which some have taken as a hint he is preparing to move.
He offered no explicit confirmation of his intentions, and speculation over his future remains unresolved.
