Fabio Silva resurfaces as possible loan target for Roma | OneFootball

Roma’s attacking maneuvers aren’t limited to Giacomo Raspadori alone.

In these frenetic hours marking the official start of the transfer window, Sporting Director Frederic Massara is weaving a dense web of international contacts to ensure Gian Piero Gasperini has a revamped attack.

Alongside negotiations for Zirkzee and Raspadori, an old summer prospect has resurfaced: Fabio Silva.

The Portuguese striker, currently playing for Borussia Dortmund, was close to wearing the Giallorossi jersey last summer, before the deal fell through in the final stages.

According to British portal TeamTalk, Roma have explored his availability for a transfer on a loan basis or with an option to buy until June.

The 2002-born striker hasn’t found the playing time he needs in the Bundesliga to develop and has already expressed a desire to move elsewhere for more consistent playing time.
