Fenerbahçe ‘to accelerate’ Ollie Watkins chase after €35 million offer | OneFootball

According to Fanatik, Fenerbahçe have made Aston Villa and England forward Ollie Watkins their top summer target and are intensifying negotiations.

The push follows their UEFA Champions League qualifying win over Górnik Zabrze, with the Istanbul club seeking a headline centre-forward.

They have submitted an improved €35 million bid to Villa and proposed a three-year contract worth €9 million per season, which the 30-year-old has agreed in principle.

Villa value Watkins at €35 million to €40 million and his current deal runs to June 2028. Fenerbahçe are discussing an instalment structure to meet Financial Fair Play.

Under İsmail Kartal, Fenerbahçe are targeting the Süper Lig title and a deep European run. They have already added Mason Greenwood and Nathan Aké, while Watkins registered 21 goals and 5 assists in 55 outings for Villa last season.

With international duties at the 2026 FIFA World Cup now concluded, direct talks between Fenerbahçe executives and Aston Villa management are expected to accelerate in the coming days.
