Fortuna Sittard climb to second as 't Zand strikes deep into added time | OneFootball

Fortuna Sittard beat Cambuur 3-1 at the Fortuna Sittard Stadion to climb to second in the Eredivisie, leaving the visitors bottom after two defeats.

In the sixth minute Philip Brittijn glanced in a header from Mohammed Ihattaren's cross following a corner to open the scoring.

Lequincio Zeefuik doubled the lead on a fast break (15.). Rafik El Arguioui replied from Nicky Souren's through ball to halve the deficit (22.).

In the second half Shiloh 't Zand came on and sealed it in the sixth minute of stoppage time, finishing Ivo Pinto's pass on the counter. It was 't Zand's first goal for the club this season.

Mattijs Branderhorst made six saves as Fortuna Sittard absorbed pressure. Thijs Janssen twice denied Ole Romeny from range before the interval.

Fortuna Sittard registered 17 attempts with seven on target. Cambuur had 64% possession and 19 attempts but could not find an equaliser.
