Galatasaray have suffered a significant setback after Victor Osimhen underwent surgery on a fractured arm, hitting their title push.

The club said in a statement that the striker has had the operation to repair the break, adding that further updates and a recovery timeline will follow via official channels.

The timing is a major blow for Okan Buruk. The Nigeria international has been the focal point of the attack, producing 19 goals and seven assists in 29 outings this season.

His finishing and physical presence have underpinned the chase for a domestic double, especially since their Champions League exit earlier this spring.
