Grêmio have opened talks to sign Éverton Cebolinha, who is on his way out of Flamengo, according to ESPN Brasil.
Éverton has been allowed to find a new club and did not travel with the squad for the Libertadores match against Independiente del Valle. He was released to resolve personal matters.
Krasnodar are the main rival for his signature, having already submitted an offer and awaiting a response. If negotiations progress, any move to Russia must be completed by Thursday 10 when the window shuts.
Grêmio initially ruled out the winger, but an internal reassessment changed the stance. With approval from Portuguese Luís Castro’s staff, the board now deems it worthwhile to try to bring him back. He is in the final stretch of his contract at Gávea and is not in Flamengo’s plans.
The club also awaits CBF approval of a collective payment plan, and must meet specific conditions to register new signings until a decision is made.
