Bolton Wanderers and West Ham United have learned Brighton & Hove Albion's demands for Amario Cozier-Duberry amid Rangers seeing a bid rejected...
Brighton and Hove Albion have set their eight-figure price for winger Amario Cozier-Duberry amid interest in his services from West Ham United and Bolton Wanderers this summer.
Amario Cozier-Duberry joined Brighton and Hove Albion from Arsenal back in July 2024, with the 21-year-old then heading out on loan to Blackburn Rovers and Bolton Wanderers to further his development.
It was with Bolton in League One where the wide forward impressed most, which caught the eye of teams at a higher level. He was essential in the play-offs to get his loan side back into the second tier after seven seasons in League One and League Two.

It is obvious why Bolton boss Steven Shumacher is desperate to have Cozier-Duberry back for 2026/27 when he was so vital to their previous campaign to get into the Championship. The interest in him has grown of late, though.
Earlier in the window, Brighton had interest in Cozier-Duberry from Anderlecht, but it's been reported by The Athletic that they rejected the offer of £5 million prior to Rangers' £7 million bid to Brighton yesterday.
The 21-year-old was also linked with a move to recently relegated West Ham, which is why Bolton re-signing Cozier-Duberry will be difficult in the current window. However, it leaves Brighton with a big decision to make on his future.
Journalist Pete O'Rourke has claimed that Brighton have placed a £10 million valuation on Cozier-Duberry after turning down a £7 million bid from Rangers. He adds that several other clubs are also weighing up moves for the attacker before the close of the window.

Having previously struggled to make a significant impact in the Championship with Blackburn Rovers, a return to the second tier now feels like the natural next step for Cozier-Duberry. He is older, more mature, and has far more senior experience under his belt, while an excellent season with Bolton, which saw him named in the League One Team of the Season, should have given him a huge confidence boost.
With those additional qualities behind him, Cozier-Duberry could be a very different player in the Championship this time around. A successful season at that level could also significantly increase his value to Brighton, making another loan an attractive option for all parties to reunite with Bolton.
That said, an offer of £10 million might be too tempting to turn down over the patience of a loan. Not many clubs in the Championship can afford such a fee, albeit West Ham can if they are keen to bring in support for Jarrod Bowen and a much younger wide forward.

Naturally, Bolton fans had a lot to say about the update on social media, with a few Rangers getting involved as well. One Bolton supporter said: "Pay up @OfficialBWFC"
A West Ham fan replied: "Perfect winger to bring in. Much better option than Nelson, cant understand why we Wouldnt move for him."
A final response from a Bolton fan read: "Don’t think we’ll be getting him."
