Juan Miguel Mor to lead CD Alcora in 60th anniversary season | OneFootball

Juan Miguel Mor has been appointed CD Alcora head coach for 2026/27, the club’s 60th anniversary season. The club announced the Alcora native, an academy graduate, takes charge after nine years at Club Deportivo Roda.

His arrival underlines Alcora’s commitment to a competitive identity, local talent and continued growth in Lliga Comunitat Nord. He is viewed as someone who embodies the club’s identity and sense of belonging.

Mor’s link with Alcora began at five when he joined the club school as a player. At 16 he also started coaching within the set-up.

He spent much of his career at Roda, ending by coaching their reserves in Primera FFCV. In 2023 he returned to lead Juvenil A, overseeing two promotions including a historic rise to Lliga Comunitat Juvenil.

He plans a young, high-tempo and recognisable side at El Saltador, hungry for points regardless of opponent. He wants the first team to mirror the club’s identity and open a pathway for standout academy players.

For Mor, the academy is a conviction, not a fallback. He believes the club’s youngsters are ready for any challenge and wants every child to see a real route to the first team.

He will work with fellow local Vicente Pinardell as sporting director, while Alexis Mollón continues as president.

The campaign will be framed by the anniversary, with the academy still growing and breaking records, now around 300 federative licences across 16 teams.

Mor says Alcora will wear a commemorative crest during 2026 and will unveil celebratory events across the year. He adds that the club’s story is written daily by those defending the red colours, and that they will look to the future with the same passion that inspired the founders.
