According to L'Équipe, Jude Bellingham’s brace for England against Norway took Real Madrid players to 19 goals at the 2026 World Cup, a new single-edition club record.

England beat Norway 2-1 after extra time in Saturday’s quarter-final. The tally is now unmatched by any club at a World Cup since 1930.

The record has been driven by four Madrid players: Kylian Mbappé with 8, co-top scorer at the 2026 World Cup, Bellingham with 6, Vinicius Junior with 4, and Arda Güler with 1.

The total could still rise, as three Madrid players remain in contention, Mbappé and Aurélien Tchouaméni with France, and Bellingham with England. With semi-final places secured, they will, barring injury, have two matches to play.

Before Madrid’s surge, the single-edition high was shared by Budapest Honvéd in 1954, Bayern Munich in 2014, and PSG in 2022. PSG’s number owed much to Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi, who scored 8 and 7 in Qatar and were the tournament’s top scorers.
