Grêmio could be without up to three players for Red Bull Bragantino on Sunday at 16:00 at Cícero Souza Marques, in the 24th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro. The main concerns are in defence.

According to Globo.com, Kannemann came on during the defeat to Atlético-MG and collected his third yellow card, so he is suspended. The centre-back has featured in only four Série A matches so far.

That absence is amplified by Gustavo Martins’ issue. He left the pitch to make way for the Argentine after a physical problem and will be re-evaluated, with Wagner Leonardo the most likely partner for Wallace.

Another potential absentee is midfielder Nardoni, who felt pain in his right knee after a heavy knock. He applied ice on the bench at Arena MRV and will undergo tests, while Krovinovic is the leading candidate to start.

Villasanti and Marlon, rested on Sunday, are expected to return to the starting XI. The pair were not cleared by the medical staff but had taken part in recent training sessions.

New signing Danilo Barbosa must be registered during the week and could also come into contention for Grêmio. He can operate in midfield and has previously filled in at centre-back.
