Jürgen Klopp is poised to refresh Germany’s goalkeeping pool, with Oliver Baumann set to miss out on the upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures, according to Bild.

The 36-year-old TSG Hoffenheim keeper was first choice during World Cup qualifying and served as Manuel Neuer’s understudy at the tournament in the summer.

Marc-André ter Stegen, on loan at Ajax from FC Barcelona, is expected to get the nod after working his way back from injury.

Jonas Urbig, the second-choice at FC Bayern behind Neuer, and Alexander Nübel of Besiktas are seen as leading candidates for the two remaining places.

Finn Dahmen of Augsburg is viewed as an alternative, with Klopp’s first Germany squad to be announced on Thursday.
