Kylian Mbappé advises Real Madrid to sign Ligue 1 star | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has sent a piece of advice the way of the club’s board regarding their plans for the transfer market.

This comes amid Los Blancos’ ongoing pursuit of reinforcements at the back.

Real Madrid are of course widely expected to bring in fresh blood at the heart of defence with a view to the 2026/27 campaign.

As much comes with both David Alaba and Antonio Rüdiger expected to move on.

With this in mind, a whole host of stoppers from across the continent have been tipped as potential arrivals in Xabi Alonso’s squad.

And as alluded to above, recently weighing in on the subject was a current member of Real’s ranks, in Kylian Mbappé.

As per a report from Fichajes, the Frenchman has endorsed a Blancos swoop for fellow countryman Jérémy Jacquet:

‘According to DefensaCentral, the operation has taken on a special dimension due to the direct involvement of Kylian Mbappé. The French striker has conveyed to Real Madrid’s management his conviction that Jacquet deserves a firm commitment.’

Jacquet, for his part, is a 20-year-old central defender who has already established himself as a leading figure at Ligue 1 outfit Stade Rennais.
