Moreover, according to SPORT, Diego Simeone and Atletico Madrid remain attentive to his situation at the club. As per the report, Simeone sees Casado as someone who would fit his system well and would be welcome at the Madrid-based club.

However, Barcelona would be willing to negotiate an exit if the player himself is open to it. So far, the intention of the €30 million-rated player, as per his Transfermarkt value, seems to be to remain at Barcelona and fight for chances at the club of his life.

At the same time, however, there is no telling what could happen between now and the end of the summer transfer window. With other players like Fermin Lopez being linked to clubs such as Manchester United, this final month of the transfer window could prove to be a decisive one.
