Lazio ‘to sell’ at least five players on 2027 deals under net-zero plan | OneFootball

On Friday, the club confirmed a net-zero transfer campaign. Lazio are reportedly planning to sell at least five players with deals expiring in June 2027 to finance arrivals.

Il Messaggero reports that Alessio Romagnoli could be the first to leave. His January move to Al-Sadd collapsed late, but Al-Sadd have returned and there is an agreement in principle between the clubs worth around €3.5 million.

Lazio are preparing to part company with Ivan Provedel, who has agreed personal terms with Inter Milan. Gennaro Gattuso would like to focus on Christos Mandas and Edoardo Motta. The club are eyeing a €4-5 million fee, and Inter will try to lower the price.

Luca Pellegrini has been linked with Como and Hull City. Manuel Lazzari could join newly promoted Monza. Matteo Cancellieri has interest from Olympiacos, Fiorentina, Torino and Parma.

Pedro, Elseid Hysaj and Toma Basic have already left on free transfers, easing the wage bill but raising no fees. With nine players entering the final year of their contracts, further sales are considered important for the team.
