El Correo de Andalucía reports that Julian Brandt has been ‘offered’ to Real Betis, but the club do not view him as the right fit despite a visit to their training base by his father and agent.

Leeds want to bring the Germany international to Elland Road this summer, attracted by his experience and Champions League pedigree. He is a free agent after his Borussia Dortmund deal expired and is weighing up options for next season.

Jürgen Brandt has been seen at the Luis del Sol Sports City, reportedly to look over Betis’ facilities.

Betis finished fifth in La Liga last season, securing a Champions League place. Former Leeds players Junior Firpo, Diego Llorente and Marc Roca contributed during the campaign.

Leeds are expected to confirm the already agreed signing of Harry Wilson in the coming days. Defender Pascal Struijk is set for a move to Brighton.
