Leeds United unveil retro 2026/27 Adidas away kit as long-sleeve option added, Radebe narrates | OneFootball

Leeds United have unveiled their retro Adidas away kit for 2026/27, returning to yellow with night navy and white detailing. It pairs with navy shorts and yellow socks, and, for the first time, a long-sleeve version is on sale.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the shirt carries the Yorkshire Rose crest used from 1984 to 1998 and an Adidas trefoil logo, which the club call a historic first for the partnership. The launch continues the nods to past glories that proved popular last year.

This will be Leeds’ seventh season with Adidas and their second straight Premier League campaign after finishing 14th under Daniel Farke. The reveal came via a film in the Yorkshire Dales, featuring current players and narrated by club great Lucas Radebe.

Radebe hails the passion and loyalty of Leeds supporters, says the film captures the bond between club, city and county, and expects the shirt to be a fans’ favourite. The long-sleeve option reflects Adidas’ elite tier, alongside Arsenal, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.

The previous yellow away strip, launched before the 2024/25 title-winning campaign, sold more than 15,000 in the first 24 hours and became part of the promotion story.

Leeds plan to wear the new kit in the USA against Wrexham on July 25, Liverpool on July 30 and Sunderland on August 2.

An Elland Road friendly with RB Leipzig is expected on August 8/9. The Premier League starts on August 22/23. The kit is on sale via the club, Adidas and selected JD stores.
