Chelsea are running out of time to finalise all of their summer transfer business, as deadline day is now here.

It's been a busy summer at Stamford Bridge after the appointment of Xabi Alonso as Chelsea manager.

Chelsea have splashed the cash to improve their squad under the Spaniard, already bringing in Morgan Rogers, Maxence Lacroix, Marco Palestra, Geovany Quenda, Valentin Barco, Emmanuel Emegha, Pep Chavarria, Jordan Henderson, Danny Welbeck and Emiliano Martinez.

It hasn't just been incomings. Chelsea have offset the spend with big sales this summer. Andrey Santos, Marc Cucurella, Nicolas Jackson, Tyrique George, Liam Delap and Trevoh Chalobah are among those who have been sold, with plenty of loan moves also finalised.

As reported by Sam Lee of The Athletic, Enzo Fernandez’s family arrived in London from Buenos Aires this morning in anticipation of a transfer to Manchester City being completed.

The midfielder was in talks to join Hull City on loan, but the move is now off, according to Nizaar Kinsella of BBC Sport, following the Tigers' pursuit of Tim Iroegbunam.

Essugo is now likely to either remain at Chelsea, or join Strasbourg in the final international loan spot.
