Lorran sees value plunge as Flamengo hold advanced talks with Sharjah | OneFootball

Flamengo are in advanced talks to sell Lorran to Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, with a fee around 1.3 million euros, about R$ 7.7 million. The deal is not finalised, and the negotiations highlight a sharp devaluation of the 20-year-old midfielder.

According to Coluna Do Fla, Flamengo were close to selling him to CSKA in January 2025 for 8 million euros, covering 80% of his rights. Days earlier the club had rejected a 5 million euro bid.

The current figure is worth less than one sixth of that 2025 negotiation. Limited chances with the first team and a poor stint at Pisa in Italy have weighed on his market value.

He renewed with Flamengo in August 2024 until 2029, lifting his release clause to 100 million euros, about R$ 593.83 million. Even so, the new deal did not bring a sustained run of minutes. After returning from Pisa he joined the club’s mid-season camp in Portugal, but failed to convince coach Leonardo Jardim and remained unused.

Lorran debuted for the seniors in 2023 in the Carioca. His best spell came in 2024 under Tite, when he earned a run and finished the year with 27 appearances, one goal and three assists. Later that year he was sent back to the under-20s.

Across all senior outings he has three goals and three assists in 39 matches. At youth level he won the Mundial, Libertadores, Copa do Brasil, Brasileiro and Carioca, and with Brazil lifted the South American Under-17 title.
