Lucas Beltrán named in squad for Oviedo trip after knee issue | OneFootball

Lucas Beltrán has been included in the squad to travel to Oviedo, with kick-off tomorrow at 18:30 at the Carlos Tartiere, according to AS.

The Argentine missed the last three matches, against Villarreal, Osasuna and Alavés, due to patellar tendinitis.

Head coach Carlos Corberán said Beltrán completed today’s session after two partial sessions. He added that the pain in the striker’s knee has eased and that it is a boost to have him available.

Given his recent lay-off, Beltrán is likely to start on the bench. His minutes could depend on how the match unfolds and, above all, on how he feels in the warm-up.

The forward is on loan from Fiorentina.
