Muniain's Salamanca thank Athletic for Lezama training | OneFootball

Muniain's Salamanca used their stay in Bizkaia to train at Athletic's Lezama complex on Thursday.

They had beaten Derio, Muniain's former team, in a Copa Federación tie on Wednesday.

According to El Correo, the session came before the squad headed home for this weekend's trip to Cuenca to face Conquense.

Lezama is the ground where the Navarre forward has trained so often. The workout also allowed a brief reunion with Williams and aided the squad's recovery after the tie.

Shortly after the session, Salamanca thanked Athletic on social media for opening the doors of Lezama and for the treatment received during their stay. They described training at such a special, historic venue as a real privilege.

Salamanca compete in Segunda Federación, Group five. They have won both league matches to date, against Guadalajara and Getafe B.
