Neymar reacts to AI video hinting at 2030 World Cup | OneFootball

Neymar has responded to a viral AI video that imagines him weighing up a 2030 World Cup tilt. The Instagram clip, from the profile Nerd Soul AI, uses different-aged versions of the forward to frame the dilemma.

According to Globo.com, the post had already cleared 22 million views by Sunday. Roughly 12 hours after going live it had 33 million views, 3.7 million likes, 190,000 comments and more than 1 million shares, with Neymar leaving three emotional emojis.

In the storyline, two adult Neymars watch a child version in a Santos training bib, one introduces himself as the future self. The elder admits they have not won a World Cup despite giving everything, and asks the boy if he should try one last time.

A fourth version then appears holding a World Cup trophy marked 2030. The child agrees that they should make one final attempt.

Neymar, Brazil's No 10, is 34 and has played at four World Cups, in 2014, 2018, 2022 and 2026. He had previously signalled that the 2026 tournament in Canada, Mexico and the United States would be his last. Returning from injury, he featured in two matches at that edition, including the round-of-16 defeat by Norway.
