NWSL clubs interested in signing Melvine Malard | OneFootball

Manchester United have received bids from NWSL sides for forward Melvine Malard according to reports.

The French international initially joined the Red Devils on loan from OL Lyonnes at the start of the 2023/24 season with that move then being made permanent the summer afterwards.

This season, the 25-year-old has produced her best goal output for United, scoring 10 and making 10 assists across 40 appearances in all competitions.

Those performances have drawn interest from clubs from the United States with Anton Toloui of Sky Sports News reporting that two bids have already been received from NWSL sides with other Champions League clubs also monitoring the situation.

United will have a decision to make as Malard enters the final year of her contract with the club finding themselves in a similar situation with their top scorer from this season, Elisabeth Terland.
