According to O Jogo, the pending sale of Rodrigo Mora would take Porto’s SAD past €240m earned from Olival-trained players over the last six years, that is, this decade.
Mora would become the academy’s most lucrative sale, surpassing the €41.5m generated by Francisco Conceição, comprising a loan fee then a permanent move to Juventus, and the €41.5m brought in by Vitinha’s switch to PSG.
The trio total €133m. To that, add €40m from Fábio Silva’s move to Wolverhampton and €35m from Fábio Vieira’s transfer to Arsenal.
Juventus paid €12m for João Mário, while Gonçalo Borges’ departure to Feyenoord returned €10m.
Diogo Leite’s move to Union Berlin raised €7m, and Sérgio Oliveira added €4m, split as €1m for his loan to Roma and €3m for his switch to Galatasaray. In total, that would amount to €241m.
