PSG are preparing a second offer for Ajax attacker Mika Godts, according to a report from a trusted insider.

Just this morning we were writing that reports that PSG had agreed a fee for Mika Godts for €45m would mean that the Parisians had secured themselves a very impressive deal.

Well, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Now there are reports coming from the well connected Sacha Tavolieri that Ajax are actually holding out for €50m as a fee up front, with a potential further €15m in bonuses and add-ons.

Personal terms agreed – but PSG still far off final fee

Attacker Godts looks like a real talent – even a total deal at €65m wouldn’t be too bad if he fulfils his potential. It shouldn’t come to that anyway – PSG should be able to wrap him up for significantly less than that. If they agree to pay the €50m flat fee, they might get away with just €5m in bonuses.

Either way, they want to get into gear and get this deal done so they can come into preseason at full strength. Godts “has an agreement with Paris” and is now “pushing to find a deal.”
