RC Lens begin new backroom era under Dino Toppmöller | OneFootball

RC Lens have assembled a refreshed coaching team under Dino Toppmöller, meeting for the first time on Wednesday at la Gaillette. L'Équipe reports that the group convened ahead of the players’ return.

The reshuffle follows the departures of Pierre Sage and assistant Jamal Alioui to Crystal Palace.

Three new assistants join Toppmöller: Albanian Ervin Skela and Portuguese Nelson Morgado, who have worked with him before, plus former Lens captain Yannick Cahuzac, whose move into the staff had been planned for months.

Bilal Hamdi and Éric Sikora remain in place, as do goalkeeping coach Cédric Berthelin and performance lead Guillaume Ravé.

The squad are due back on Thursday for two days of medical and physical testing at la Gaillette.
