Real Madrid summer signing Marc Cucurella has this week moved to endear himself to new teammates Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Jr.

This comes by way of a promise regarding his plans when taking to the pitch in the colours of Los Blancos.

Defender Cucurella was of course unveiled as a big-money addition to José Mourinho’s new-look Real Madrid squad earlier this month.

Amid ongoing questions surrounding the readiness of Álvaro Carreras to act as first-choice left-back in Spain’s capital, his fellow countryman was brought in from Chelsea to take over the role.

Cucurella has long garnered a reputation for his commitment to the cause, a player who will do whatever is required of him to ensure victory for his team.

Speaking during an interview with El Chiringuito TV (as cited by Fabrizio Romano) this week, Cucurella therefore moved to reiterate that nothing will change during his stint at the Bernabéu:

“I am ready to sacrifice for Mbappé and Vini. I will do all the dirty work so that we win. My only target is to win.”
