Real Sociedad plan six summer fixtures, United Kingdom camp and Cologne double-header | OneFootball

Real Sociedad have mapped out a six-stop summer under Pellegrino Matarazzo, with the squad back at Zubieta on the fourth of July and an open session for fans on Sunday the fifth.

According to AS, the first friendly arrives on 18 July against Racing de Santander at the club’s training complex. A short camp in the United Kingdom runs from 24 to 29 July, featuring games with Aston Villa and Wolverhampton.

The txuri-urdin then travel to Tarbes in France to face Toulouse on 31 July.

They then head to Germany for a Cologne double-header. The first is on Friday the seventh of August at 18:00 behind closed doors at the Franz-Kremer-Stadion. The second follows on Saturday the eighth of August at 15:30 at the 50,000-capacity RheinEnergieStadion.

After those fixtures, only the derby with Athletic remains to be arranged, with date and venue still to be confirmed. It could be played during the September international break. The league schedule will be set next week, with the draw on Tuesday in Las Rozas, and Matarazzo’s side will compete in La Liga, the Copa del Rey, the Europa League and the Supercopa.
