Real Sociedad slipped to defeat at the Sánchez Pizjuán, a raft of low marks reflecting a flat display, with Ander Barrenetxea the pick of the starters.

According to Diario Vasco, players were graded from zero to five for this match, those points counting towards the long-running DV de Oro, and supporters can also submit ratings.

Álex Remiro received two, dealing with early long-range efforts but unable to keep out Alexis’s close-range, central strike. Jon Mikel Aramburu took one, troubled constantly by Ejuke, booked harshly for a non-existent elbow on Maupay, and beaten before a wayward finish.

Jon Martín earned two for a tidy outing and clearing deliveries, with Maupay under control at the opener. Duje Caleta-Car was marked at one after stepping out to chase Maupay and leaving Alexis free, though he did block an Ejuke shot. Sergio Gómez took two, limiting Vargas as Sevilla mainly attacked through Ejuke.

Carlos Soler was given one, rarely connecting with the forwards beyond a few long passes towards Orri Óskarsson. Beñat Turrientes also took one, short of his usual carries and guilty of a costly turnover. Jon Gorrotxategi scored one, endured close attention from Agoumé and Gudelj and was withdrawn at half-time after a heavy clash with Romero.

Pablo Marín was handed one after a hard-working but muted display on the left. Barrenetxea earned two and was the best of the starting XI for his movement, including a teasing cross after the break. Mikel Oyarzabal received one, well marshalled by Castrín and Salas before dropping deeper.

Óskarsson made two, immediately creating a gilt‑edged chance with a burst down the left. Take Kubo also got two but made little headway against Suazo, who played with his arm in a sling and looked exhausted. Yangel Herrera and Luka Sucic were unrated, while Wesley Ribeiro took two for direct running, crosses and a firm challenge.

Pellegrino Matarazzo started Marín and Gorrotxategi ahead of Óskarsson and Kubo, but La Real have struggled to respond since lifting the Cup. He did not find answers at 0-0 or after the opener, later switching to a back three.
