MIAMI – The 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup continues with Seattle Sounders FC hosting Tigres UANL in the Second Leg of their Quarterfinals series on Wednesday at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington, USA.
Tigres UANL goes on the road with the advantage after a 2-nil victory at home in the first leg. Astrike from Ozziel Herrera, and own goal from Seattle’s Jackson Ragen, delivered the result the Liga MX side.
The Mexican side is looking to avoid a repeat of what happened in the 2012/13 edition againstthe Sounders in the Quarterfinals. After winning 1-nil at home, the MLS side prevailed 3-1 in Seattle to take the series.
Los Universitarios are hoping to advance to the Semifinals for the second straight year. The MLS side has not reached the semifinals of this tournament since the 2022 edition, when itwon the tournament.
Away goals serve as the first tiebreaker in the aggregate score. A 2-nil Seattle win would force extra time. A penalty shootout would also be played, if necessary.
The winner of this series on aggregate will advance to the Semifinals and play the winner of the Club América and Nashville SC series.
