Sevilla and Venezia have intensified negotiations in Seville over the sale of Akor Adams, with a second bid close. ABC de Sevilla reports the first formal meeting ended without a written offer, but talks are progressing and the striker has an agreement until 2030.
Sevilla are firm on their valuation, seeking at least €15m and having rejected an initial €10m. Nicolò Schira claims Venezia’s next offer will be €12m, a sum still short of the demand.
A Venezia delegation is in the city, with sporting director Filippo Antonelli negotiating for the 26-year-old.
Adams was Sevilla’s leading scorer last season at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán. Despite alternating starts and cameos, he produced 10 goals and four assists that were pivotal to top-flight survival.
If the move is completed, Sevilla’s recruitment team will need to act quickly to bolster their attack. The search for a new centre-forward will begin once his departure is confirmed.
