"I am confident that things will continue with him beyond 2027. From Deniz’s perspective, VfB is probably not the worst address, both in sporting terms and beyond," said VfB Stuttgart sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth, speaking to Sport Bild.

"We want to continue working with Deniz and will put in full effort to achieve that. Of course, it is also the case that we must not exceed certain financial limits."

Undav’s contract runs until the summer of 2027, and Stuttgart are in talks with the striker over an extension.

"In football, I would not rule anything out," Wohlgemuth said.

"However, the question comes too early. We have to wait and see; we can’t do the maths here without the landlord. After all, Alex has a long-term contract in Munich."

Nübel’s loan from Bayern Munich expires in the summer, and he has spent the last three seasons on loan at Stuttgart.
