Sunderland membership scheme explained: prices, ballots and key questions answered | OneFootball

Sunderland have launched a new membership for 2026/27, on sale from 10am on Tuesday, July 14. Join before 8pm on Thursday, July 23 to receive £10 off the full pre-season streaming package.

According to Sunderland Echo, Season Ticket Plus costs £20 and is an optional add-on for existing season-ticket holders. It grants access to an away-ticket ballot drawn from 10 per cent of each allocation, alongside member perks.

Black Cats Adult, £48, offers home-ticket ballots for Premier League, Europa League and domestic cups, plus access to the season-ticket waiting list for non-season-ticket holders. Black Cats Academy, for ages four to 18, costs £30 for the first child and £20 thereafter, with the same benefits and a mascot ballot for ages six to 12.

Ticket forwarding for season-ticket holders remains unchanged. Non-members may still buy home tickets if any remain after member ballots, though availability is likely to be very limited. One membership equals one ticket, and the club still need to explain how linked or family applications will be handled.

Only season-ticket holders with Season Ticket Plus can enter away ballots, with 10 per cent of every away allocation reserved. Black Cat Points continues, but with fewer tickets in the traditional phases. The waiting list closed on Friday, July 3 and reopens at 10am on Tuesday for Adult and Academy members. Europa League home details are still to be confirmed and there is no indication Plus is needed for season-ticket holders.
