FLW takes a look at each player set to miss the upcoming East Anglian derby on Saturday
The East Anglian derby is once again upon us, and with both Norwich City and Ipswich Town still having everything to play for, it's set to be another thrilling encounter between the two clubs on Saturday.
Norwich versus Ipswich is one of the biggest derbies in England, and the Canaries are set to host the Tractor Boys this Saturday at Carrow Road, with very much everything still to play for.
Norwich began the season abysmally, but now, under Philippe Clement, they have soared up the division and are still within a chance of breaking into the top six, with a victory in this one imperative to those efforts.
Ipswich, meanwhile, are level on 72 points with both Middlesbrough and Millwall, but with two games in hand on the pair, a win in this would bring them one step closer to an immediate return to the Premier League.
Norwich will be wanting to do everything in their power to spoil their Suffolk neighbours' efforts, whilst Ipswich will be desperate to spoil the renaissance currently happening in Norfolk, as FLW takes a look at each player who is a doubt for this enthralling clash.

Norwich have had a hugely injury-laden campaign, and first up among a long line of injuries is that of Harry Amass.
The left-back joined on loan from Manchester United in January after shining on loan for Sheffield Wednesday in the first half of the season, but made just one appearance in a 15-minute cameo against Coventry City before suffering a serious injury in training.
The teenager has returned to his parent club to continue his rehabilitation and is not expected to feature again this season.

Serbian midfielder Mirko Topic joined Norwich in the summer from Portuguese side Famalicao, and managed just 16 league games before an ACL injury against Oxford United in November ruled him out for the rest of the season.
The 25-year-old is expected to return next campaign, where, hopefully for Clement, he will be like a new signing.

Like Topic, Croatian winger Antre Crnac sustained an ACL injury in the early stages of the campaign against Derby County and hasn't featured since October as he recovers.
Once he returns to fitness, it will give Clement a completely new option from out wide, as Norwich supporters will be hoping that the Belgian boss can get the best out of the 22-year-old.

Czech winger Matej Jurasek has had an incredibly frustrating time with injuries since joining Norwich in January 2025, and having picked up a foot injury in late January, he is not expected to feature in this clash.
The 22-year-old was ruled out for up to 10 weeks, and with his last minutes coming in late January and having failed to play a full 90 minutes all season, it would be surprising to see that change anytime soon.

Jovon Makama has been one of Norwich's standout performers this season, as even during their rough patch, the former Lincoln City striker was a persistent beacon of light.
However, the Canaries will have to make do without him when they take on Ipswich on Saturday, having broken a bone in his foot against Blackburn Rovers in February, and has not played since.

Senegalese winger Papa Diallo joined Norwich in the summer from Ligue 2 club Metz, the same club which can boast exports such as Sadio Mane, Kalidou Koulibaly, Emmanuel Adebayor, and Franck Ribery.
However, Diallo has yet to have an effect close to those aforementioned players, having been limited to just nine league appearances all season, with a quad injury picked up in the early stages of the season disrupting his minutes.
Diallo hasn't featured in a matchday squad since the end of January, and is unlikely to return for this clash.

Northern Irish defender Ruairi McConville started the season off well down the pecking order under Liam Manning, but since Philippe Clement arrived through the doors, he has leapfrogged his counterparts to be one of the first names on the Belgian's team sheet when fit.
Unfortunately for Norwich, McConville looks likely to miss this fixture, having picked up a knock whilst away on international duty, with no timescale set in place for his return.

Dutch defensive-midfielder Azor Matusiwa has been among the best players in the division this season in the centre of the park, having joined from French club Stade Rennes for £7.8m in the summer.
Unfortunately for Kieran McKenna, it looks like he will have to make do without the 27-year-old for this heated rivalry, with Matusiwa picking up a dead leg in their 2-1 victory over Birmingham City, being substituted late in the first half.

Spanish striker Ivan Azon was absent from Ipswich's 20-man squad against Birmingham on Monday, and McKenna later revealed the reasoning behind that decision was because Como loanee picked up a calf issue over the international break.
The head coach provided no timeline as to when he will return to action, but it looks as though he could well miss this one.

Welsh winger Wes Burns has been forced to miss the bulk of this season due to injury, though, having returned to the squad in December, the 31-year-old sustained an injury against Sheffield Wednesday and hasn't been involved since.
McKenna was optimistic he would return after the international break, but Burns has yet to make a squad since then, and looks likely to miss out for this important clash.
