FC Barcelona lose to Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu, and delivered a frustrating performance in the process. Not nearly as good as they needed to be, and Hansi Flick’s side deserved to lose this game.

A 2-1 defeat sees Barça fall five points behind Los Blancos in terms of the La Liga table. It will take a lot of work for this team to get back to the way things need to be, but for now, this lose needs to be a painful reminder to them.

Should have done better for the first goal he conceded but did exceptionally well to save the penalty. However, his distribution left a lot to be desired.

Jules Kounde: 6.0

Did not provide much going forward and squandered a brilliant chance to score a equaliser in the second half. A frustrating performance.

Pau Cubarsi: 6.0

Consistent in terms of his distribution and offside trap, but he ended up struggling to keep up with Kylian Mbappe for much of this game.

Eric Garcia: 5.5

Gave away a penalty for no reason and it was a frustrating thing to do. Got substituted as well after a disappointing performance.

Alejandro Balde: 6.0

Very restricted and limited in terms of his approach to this game. Looked solid at some points, but ultimately ended up having a disappointing game.

Frenkie de Jong: 6.5

Orchestrated play well at certain points during the game, but just like the rest of his teammates, he was simply too tame in this game to thwart Real Madrid properly.

Pedri: 6.5

Almost seemed like the only person trying to make things happen at a point, and was unfortunate enough to concede a red card late in the game with a second yellow while trying to dribble.

Lamine Yamal: 6.0

Not nearly as good as he should have been, although he did produce a sensational pass that Jules Kounde should have scored with.

Fermin Lopez: 7.0

Scored a great goal but was frustrating apart from that. The Spaniard had a few other opportunities where he should have passed to his teammates, but ended up making the wrong decisions.

Marcus Rashford: 6.5

Looked eager to make things happen at times and even ended up grabbing a great assist for the only goal that Barcelona scored.

Ferran Torres: 5.5

Beyond frustrating, the Spanish forward was a ghost in this game. From poor touches to bad decisions, he managed to struggle in almost every way possible.
