Vasco upgrade CT Moacyr Barbosa as wet area and dressing rooms completed | OneFootball

Vasco have showcased upgrades at CT Moacyr Barbosa following a round of renovations. According to Globo.com, the current board oversaw improvements across the complex.

Modernising the facility was a key aim for Pedrinho’s leadership. The president’s group were unhappy with the lack of infrastructure investment by 777 Partners, with few changes made by the Americans between 2022 and 2024.

Pedrinho’s administration took charge of football in May 2024 after a court decision. At the start of 2025 the board set aside more than R$ 25 million to begin the works, parts of which are already evident. A priority was installing the wet area and overhauling the players’ dressing rooms, which has been completed.

Rooms for the coaching staff and the football department have also been improved. During the SAF era, Ramón Díaz’s staff in 2024 used the old press room for team planning and meetings. There is now a dedicated room for the coaching staff.

The former press room has itself been refurbished. It previously had a wooden table and assorted chairs, now there is a counter with customised Vasco seating.
