Real Madrid star Vinícius Jr. has taken to social media to send a message the way of the club’s supporters. This comes fresh off something of an outing to forget for the Brazilian on Tuesday.

Real Madrid were back in action on the domestic front yesterday evening, making the trip to Alicante for a La Liga meeting with Elche.

When all was said and done, José Mourinho’s men escaped with all three points, thanking a last-gasp Carlos Espí finish for an eventual 3-2 triumph.

Whilst the likes of Kylian Mbappé and Arda Güler impressed across the 90 minutes, though, the aforementioned Vinícius toiled in his efforts to influence proceedings in the final third.

The Brazilian looked completely off the pace, repeatedly surrendering possession whilst struggling to beat his man.

Post-match, ‘Viní’ therefore took to social media, to reassure those of a Real Madrid persuasion. In a post on his official Instagram account, the 26-year-old wrote:

‘The goals will return. I cannot miss so many. Sunday, there will be more.

‘HALA MADRID!’
