Wolves’ relegation campaign has been ranked, with Santi Bueno leading and Jackson Tchatchoua last. According to ExpressAndStar.com, ratings from 44 matches in 2025/26 produced a top 10 for the most frequently graded players.

Jackson Tchatchoua, 5.3, cost £10million and never found form. Tolu Arokodare, 5.4, at the best part of £24million, had moments and a handful of goals but looked short of Premier League level.

Hwang Hee-chan, 5.4, scored three all season, two in the league, and drifted in and out before a late uptick in a terrible side. Yerson Mosquera, 5.5, mixed strong games with reckless decisions and scraps, talent needing maturity.

Ladislav Krejci, 5.9, the best of six summer additions, steadied after dips and settled on the left of a back three. Hugo Bueno, 6.0, beat David Moller Wolfe, defended reliably, crossed well and won goal of the season against Arsenal.

Mateus Mane, 6.2, broke through once Rob Edwards backed him mid-season, exploding then dipping before a bright finish, the 18-year-old one of Wolves’ creative sparks.

Andre, 6.2, struggled under Vitor Pereira and was dropped, with running numbers low, then improved. His late Molineux winner against Liverpool earned nine out of 10, and he has since signed a new deal.

Joao Gomes, 6.2, was below his best early and omitted at times, later producing standout displays but without his previous authority.

Santi Bueno, 6.3, led the averages and collected supporters’ player of the season, rising from back-up to composed regular under Edwards with improved physicality and sharp positioning.
